Event - Year 3's Ancient Egyptian Death Masks

In Year 3 this term, as part of our ‘Ancient Egypt’ topic, we have been finding out more information about Egyptian death masks. We have learnt about why the ancient Egyptians thought they were important and have explored the different designs that people chose.

Over the past few weeks, we have been busy designing and creating our own Egyptian death masks. We built the face using papier mache and painted each part using suitable colours, following our designs carefully.
